QUICK COMP GUIDELINES:

1. Poetry submissions only - no short stories.

2. Line count must be adhered to. Anyone over the limit will not be considered.

3. We accept submissions at any point after the start time and before the end time. Any submissions after the end time will not be considered for this edition.

4. There is no entry fee as such, but we would be grateful if you bought a copy of SHOTS.

5. Please send your submission to Dan at shotsthemagazine@yahoo.co.uk. Your submission should be in the body of the email with the words QUICK COMP and the title of the competition in hand.

6. Judging will be done by the SHOTS’ editors.

7. The decision of the judges is final.

8. The winner and runner up agree that their names and work will be published in the current edition of SHOTS. Other submissions may also be printed in the current edition as space allows. Any submissions that don’t make it will be on the blogspot for up 4 weeks after the publication date. Publication is approx. 4 weeks after the submission deadline. See the blogspot for publication dates.

Announcement of Results:

We announce the results on the SHOTS blog and winner and the runners up well receive an email
